Villas Azul is perfect to cocoon in a safe beach and rainforest private home. All rooms in each villa have full ocean views. The beach is a 10 minute stroll and mostly deserted. Nearby restaurants have open air dining or take out.
Villas Azul is on a high point overlooking the Pacific located midway between the small villages of Uvita and Ojochal directly on Playa Ballena with its own private walkways to the beach.

Surrounded by lush tropical gardens, our three newly built Bali inspired villas have identical layouts. Each has two master bedrooms each with a queen bed, a coffee bar, refrigerator, ensuite bathrooms, air conditioning, and high speed wifi. Between the master bedrooms there is a great room with a full kitchen, living and dining room, full bathroom and sleeping loft for two additional guests. Each villa sleeps 6 persons comfortably.
You can rent an entire villa/ a master bedroom + the living room & kitchen/ a master bedroom and use the outdoor kitchen in the common area under the palapa.
Take a short stroll to Ballena beach through our private rainforest walkways while capuchin monkeys swing by at sunset. Villas Azul is a natural haven, perfect for enjoying nature and discovering wildlife from the comfort of your home away from home.
Spend your days relaxing by the pool, exploring surrounding rainforests, incredible beaches and local waterfalls. Nearby activities to choose from include surfing, horseback riding, kayaking and more. Organize a whale watching boat trip or book an in house yoga or massage session.
A five minute stroll along Ballena beach will lead you to a laid back local beach restaurant. Azul is just a 10 minute drive from Uvita or Ojochal both of which offer some of the best innovative cuisine in Costa Rica.
Azul is located on the beach at the southern end of Ballena Marine National Park. Villas Azul has direct private walkways to the beach of Playa Ballena and Playa Pinuela. Ballena beach is long, wide and flat, calm and perfect for yoga, swimming and kayaking with no riptides or large waves. For the more adventurous, Playa Pinuela has crashing waves and natural tide pools to enjoy and explore. The sunsets are spectacular from every vantage point. Azul is one of a very few locations in Costa Rica that is private, easily accessible and is located directly on the beachfront.
